It's true, I've finally gotten off my lazy ass and begun making more simfiles. The problem that I realize that I'm having now is that every time that I make a chart, since I suck at making lower difficulty level charts, that I am pretty much making more work for myself in the future. This sucks because even now, when I look at all of the slots I would like to fill and how many of them I need to... it is incredibly overwhelming, lots of pressure. However, I went ahead and set this for myself... I thought long and hard, hoping to get out of my slump, letting the ideas and inspiration build up (it isn't that I wasn't inspired, I didn't feel motivated, not sure why), and I've probably forgotten a good portion of the good ideas and things that I've wanted to do. So what I did, was I told someone that I would be releasing a file by 9pm tonight (it is currently 7:03pm) and I did. And thus, Yuki Kajiura - Magic and Sword came into existance. This is a song I'd heard long ago, that apparently hails from the anime, .hackSIGN (is that how it's written?), which is out of the ordinary as I tend to try to avoid anime music. But this song simply is not normal for anime, it isn't highly recognized, it isn't euro-style J-pop happy hardcore techno core happy jump around pop singer girl crazy hardcore happy crap. With that in mind, and the fact that I feel that the song just sounds plain cool, I figured "why not?" and jumped right in. The crazy thing is, I believe, without having looked at the clock at all, that this chart took me perhaps a little under a half hour to complete.

Anyways, I don't really want to spend ages talking about it, the short story is, I worked under a deadline (even if I constructed the deadline myself) and made it, and it didn't turn out like shit. Good times.
