So, as you can see, we've got the new layout here. Obviously it looks nothing like we originally thought but I'm pretty sure that this is about a thousand times better than that idea. Thanks to Hybride for being a bit of a perfectionist even if being such means that she is still not satisfied with the outcome. I on the other hand absolutely love the new look and have gotten amazing feedback from those I've spoken about it with. Great job, Hybride! Though, some of her comments aren't completely true, in other words she is mistaken, about things like, "The PHP means Zanaso and gang have no excuses anymore for lack of updates." For one thing, much of my help is MIA for one reason or another, so for once and hopefully just for a little while it is mostly just Hybride and myself. We are still looking for members of mixed talents, I'd link to the membership FAQ but I intend to rewrite it soon, but do take notice and contact if you happen to be good at sim writing. Anyways, for the other thing, the change of coding actually didn't change difficulty in adding new material of any kind in any way. The chore of adding things is no better or worse. Also, "Finally after being pestered for weeks/months..." I'd like to clarify that there was no pestering on my behalf, she actually tortured herself about it, I was encouraging her to take her time and not to rush it... you know, I'd rather not hinder her creativity nor the work of her quality, and I'm loving the outcome.
As far as sim writing goes, of course I'll still be doing what I can, but the situation is this: I'm moving. Not the site, not the files, not any type of data, but physically moving from one location to another, for the purpose of living in a domicile of my own again. During this time, my access to a computer that is capable of allowing the type of work I do is going to be limitted. Things will change when finish building my new computer, until that is done, I'll probably be busying myself with some Final Fantasy XI. I know, it isn't World of Warcraft... thank God. I'm really not a big fan of WoW for several reasons, one of the big ones being that it ends too fast IMO, the next big thing is that you choose a certain class (Warrior, Priest, etc) and you are stuck with it forever (on that character). Whereas in FFXI you can change classes fluidly and they each have their own levels, not to mention I like the subclassing system, it's just candy for someone like me. I'm on Quetlcoatl, if anyone cares, and I play sporadically so I can't really say when I'll be on.
Upholding the honor of San'd Oria... ~Zanaso
